The Learning: You don't need a US passport, a CS degree, or funding to build a $1M ARR company at 20 or get into Y Combinator. But you do need four things most people aren't willing to commit to: the right circle, a non-linear path, no Plan B, and the habit of acting before you're ready.
A Fictional Scenario:
Elif is 21, from a little town, studying economics. No CS background. No Silicon Valley connections.
She arranges her circle with ambitious people. Gets obsessed. Drops the high-paying consulting company.
Builds something small in a space she knows deeply. Pivots over and over again. Finally gets her first paying customers by doing things that don't scale.
