BIGGEST LEARNING OF THE WEEK
⌛ Daily Limit Reached (Again…)

The Learning: We are currently exiting the Subsidized Golden Age era of AI. A year ago, using AI felt like having unlimited power for almost no cost. Today, it feels like having a phone plan that runs out of data by lunchtime. As frontier labs seek profitability, they are lowering prompt limits and context windows to preserve their expensive compute.
End consumers need to be aware of this shift and prepare themselves either to pay more or to build his local sovereignty!
A Fictional Scenario:
The Past: A year ago, Mike started using Cursor with a 500 prompt per month limit. He could experiment and build all day without a care in the world.
The Present: Today, those limits have dropped to nearly one-tenth of what they used to be. Mike now hits his "limit" within the first two hours of a deep work session, and realizes that it’ll just keep getting worse.
The Pivot: Instead of paying for five different "Pro" subscriptions just to keep working, he decides to buy a powerful computer and starts using Open Weight models (Gemma 4, Minimax, Qwen, Kimi).
The Result: He finds that open models are finally good enough to handle 90% of his daily coding tasks. He no longer cares about "prompt limits" as he owns the machine the AI runs on.
Bottom Line: Don't let your "Limit Reached" screen be the end of your workday. The future of the 10x Developer isn't about having the most expensive subscription; it's about Local Sovereignty. Use the top-tier cloud models for the 10% of tasks that require deep reasoning, but build your daily workflow around open-weight models run on your own hardware.
PS: The 2025 financial reports confirm that frontier labs are effectively losing more than they earn, so lowering the token limit is crucial to have healthy unit economics. (Anthropic reporting a $5.2 billion EBITDA loss against $4.5 billion in revenue)

GPT-Image-2: OpenAI's latest mode with precise text and realistic UI generation for professional design
SOURCE OF THE WEEK
Seeking investor validation is a trap!
People during the ideation stage, look for problems that their friends/investors/people they look up to would find interesting, or even worse solutions that these people would approve. None of this is market signal.
Seeking investor validation is a trap
Consensus from friends is often a negative signal
VC content can prevent unique ideas
Approval-seeking limits innovation
